This original material was reinterpreted with the aim of being suitable for all seasons, based on archive materials from a historic weaving shop in Bishu. The warp threads are made by twisting threads of different colors and counts together and using them as heathered threads to create a deep, striped rain pattern. The weft threads are made of threads with a natural texture, and the fabric is woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom to create a twill fabric with a hand-woven texture. The innumerable stripes faintly floating among the fine rain pattern give the fabric a unique presence, like an antique that has been carefully hand-woven by hand.
