MARIA RUDMAN - How bracelets change over time, how they fit, how they're maintained, etc.
○ ABOUT
As you use it, it will take on a unique look that is unique to its owner. The reindeer leather will deepen in color, the pewter will be crushed and embedded in the leather, and the luster will increase. Because the patterns and designs are imbued with meaning, the Sami people wear them as talismans. Just looking at it will give you a warm feeling, and it's a bracelet you'll want to wear forever.
○ CLASSIC COLLECTION
The traditional techniques of the Sámi people, whose roots are steadily declining, are being passed down to future generations. In order to preserve these techniques for the future, MARIA has spent many years working with selected artisans to spread the knowledge and skills of the Sámi people to fashionable shops around the world.
The Sami people, the indigenous people of Lapland in Northern Scandinavia, are known for their deep-rooted relationship and coexistence with reindeer since ancient times. Their traditional handicrafts, "DUODJI", are all made by hand, one by one, using traditional embroidery techniques that have been handed down for hundreds of years since the 16th century.
