These handwoven fabrics, made from hand-spun yarn in Eri silk, are an effect of collaboration between JAN-JAN VAN ESSCHE and 7WEAVES.

The base of 'Grey Peaks' fabric remained undyed, whilst the inlay yarns making up the pattern come to life thanks to natural dyes.
Irregularity of the motives throughout the fabrics is an effect of freehand processes used to create the textiles and are an outcome of an interpretative work of artisans creating them.

This handwoven fabric was created through a collaboration between JAN-JAN VAN ESSCHE and 7WEAVES.

It is made from hand-spun Eri silk and carefully woven by artisans.

The base of the Grey Peaks fabric is left undyed, while the threads that make up the pattern are dyed with natural dyes.
This freehand woven fabric reflects the sensibility of the artisans, and the irregular patterns create a one-of-a-kind look.
