A TRADITIONAL FABRIC FROM SOUTHERN CHINA OF SILK THAT HAS GONE THROUGH AN ELABORATE PROCESS OF NATURAL DYEING AND OXIDATION, LENDING IT A METALLIC SHEEN. THE MEASURED PROCESS INVOLVES DYEING THE FABRIC REPEATEDLY WITH THE TANNIN-RICH YELLOW AND RED JUICE OF THE LOCAL SHULIANG YARN AND EXTENSIVE SUN EXPOSURE ON OPEN FIELDS.

A traditional silk fabric from southern China.

The fabric is dyed multiple times with the tannin-rich sap of the sap plant, then exposed to sunlight in the open air to oxidize repeatedly, before being reacted with iron-rich river mud in a time-consuming process that results in a deep oxblood color and a subtle metallic luster.

This is a special fabric that has a soft texture and a strength that deepens with time.

PADDING

THE PADDING IS COMPOSED OF 100% LIGHTWEIGHT VIRGIN WOOL OF EUROPEAN ORIGIN.

The filling is made from 100% virgin wool from Europe (Germany).

It combines soft lightness with a core of warmth, and the breathability and elasticity of natural materials allow it to conform to the wearer's body.

It fits softly to your movements, giving you a comfortable feeling like wearing air.
