created for zen no ma’s washi incense.

Made from ceramic and brass.
Each cat and stand
is individually made by hand.

Each cat has its own expression.
No two are exactly alike.

Tender, quietly poised,
and somehow fleeting.

Cats, nature, prayer, and life.

In mari masuda’s work,
we feel a quiet beauty
and a sense of life emerging from within.

We are also drawn to
the way she carries herself.

Warm and luminous,
with a quiet strength.

For this collection,
we have prepared two variations.

One in soft shades of white.
The other, quieter and earthy,
where clay and brass come into view.

Place the washi incense and light it.
As the smoke gently moves,
a brass cross appears.

A quiet moment
to simply watch the smoke and breathe in the fragrance.

In the midst of busy days,
